Motivation for Joining Grand Challenge
I have always had a passion for finding ways to use what I am learning to help others and use my knowledge towards an overarching goal. I have always had a curiosity about some of the “unsolvable” problems, but I always felt that there was a way to tackle them, so I wanted to be in an environment where I could start building up my toolkit so that I could actively work through these problems in the future.

After seeing family with lots of health issues and hearing about the disparity in healthcare among minorities, it became apparent there was a large gap between current healthcare and where we needed to be. Every person, every disease is unique and it should be treated as so. Lots of doctors don’t see big picture for patients and we should be looking at the patient as a whole rather than each individual health issue
