Biography
Currently I am attending University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) as a biochemistry and molecular biology major and a computer science minor and am a part of the class of 2021. At UMBC I have had the privilege of being a part of the Meyerhoff Scholars Program and the Louis Stokes Alliance Minority Program as well. My time at UMBC has allowed me to develop my research interests in polymer synthesis, as well as, research and development of hemostatic nanoparticles for application in medical treatment. Currently I am conducting research in Dr. Erin Lavik's lab at UMBC. As well as research, I also devote my time to tutoring in General and Organic Chemistry, service with the Reach Initiative Program, and currently serve as President of the Meyerhoff Scholars Student Council.
